Dome Camera
Dome Camera
Dome cameras are either ceiling-mounted or suspended from a wall-mounted bracket depending on the application and the field of view required. The camera unit is mounted inside a transparent dome which can be tinted to obscure the camera position.
Bullet Camera
Bullet Camera
Bullet cameras are small (2 to 2.5 inches long) and are limited to a fixed focal length lens. It is a type of video camera often used in a surveillance system. Bullet cameras are also called lipstick cameras.
Box Camera
Box Camera
Box cameras provide excellent low light sensitivity along with a very good wide dynamic range. This camera can use a wide range of lens sizes, environmental enclosures, and mounting brackets. Depending on the lens used, this camera can provide surveillance over long distances.
Fisheye Camera
Fisheye Camera
Fisheye cameras are single cameras that allow coverage or recording of the whole 360-degree panoramic view. The strength of this camera can reduce the number of cameras needed to cover the same surveillance area.
Pan Tilt Zoom Camera
Pan Tilt Zoom Camera
Pan-tilt-zoom or PTZ cameras are cameras that are capable of remote directional and zoom control. Due to its mechanical or robotic build, this camera can be navigated remotely to move from left to right or up and down. And with its adjustable lens, it can perform zooming in and out of the footage as well.
Turret Camera
Turret Camera
Turret camera, also known as a mini dome, eyeball, or flat-faced dome camera, has a ball-and-socket type of design. It is like a sliced sphere, which can be easily swiveled around in its “socket” once the base has been mounted.
Ethernet Connection
Ethernet Connection
An Ethernet cable contains eight insulated copper wires split up into four pairs. Within each pair, the wires are twisted around each other for the whole length of the cable to reduce signal interference. Therefore, the wires inside an Ethernet cable are called “twisted pairs.”
Coaxial Connection
Coaxial Connection
Having been around for nearly a century now, coaxial cables are still quite relevant in today’s world mainly due to their high property shielding quality. The shielding helps in preventing any interference with the signal. The copper plate in such cables helps in quickening the transmission of data and it’s a lot easier to install.
Wi-Fi Connection
Wi-Fi Connection
Wireless connections were created to minimize installation time. They also make the appearance of the camera much tidier, which may be an important factor for locations such as churches, museums, or stately homes.
